Love
The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved.
There are many medicines and cures for all kinds of sicknesses. But unless kind hands are given in service and generous hearts are given in love, I do not think there can ever be a cure for the terrible sickness of feeling unloved.
Life is the flower for which love is the honey.
The person who has earned love the least needs it the most. (Ensign, May 1982)
Assumptions are the termites of relationships.
Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all.
Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it.
Only love can be divided endlessly and still not diminsh.
Love is the highest attribute of the human soul, and fidelity is love's noblest offspring.
Someone has written, "Love is a verb." It requires doing - not just saying and thinking. The test is in what one does, how one acts, for love is conveyed in word and deed." (Ensign, November 1982)
True love is not earthbound. (Ensign, May 1974)
